After two-year interval, the Russian Venture Fair is coming back to Saint-Petersburg in November of 2011. More than 200 investors, managers of private equity funds, venture capitalists, investment bankers, lawyers and advisors will come together again for discussing and working out the most actual problems concerning Russian private equity and venture capital industry development.

The Fair today – is not only a presentation ground, it is a platform for the investment experts’ discussions and exchange of experience, a "club" of like-mended persons united together by the same goal – promotion of development of Russia’s technological futurity.

Among the participants are: managers and partners of first-rate Russian and foreign private equity and venture capital funds, leading top-managers of investment companies and banks, heads of major financial structures, key persons from international corporations, directors and partners of Russian and foreign stock markets.

Within the business program framework, in the interactive discussions and round tables format, the participants may share their practical experience at the PE&VC sphere, discuss common problems and vital issues, determine efficient development strategies for their companies, find new partners and clients, and lay the foundation of future business development.

The Program Committee very thoroughly selects the speakers for congress part of the Fair that allows presenting to the audience existing investment opportunities for investors and investee companies, as well as independent analysis of the factors which determine the future of PE&VC industry.

In previous years, among the key speakers were the world-known "legends" of venture entrepreneurship: Harry Fitzgibbons, Franklin "PITCH" Johnson, David Giebink, Volker Neuschuetz, Dan'l Lewin, Julian Lighton, Patricia Cloherty, and many others.

In different years, in the Fair participated: Andrey Fursenko, Sergey Narishkin, Elvira Nabiullina, Rustam Minnichanov, Anatoly Chubais, Igor Agamirzian, Olga Dergunova, Anatoly Karachinsky, and many others.

The peculiarity of the Fair is an exposition ground for small and medium capitalization companies of high-tech economic sector. As it was shown by the experience of previous Fairs, its effectiveness was much higher than the same parameter of foreign events – 13% of participating companies attracted investments for their businesses’ development.
