The Russian Venture Fair has got past its first serious point and came onto a new level. Ten-year Venture Fair’s history was a period of formation and intense development of venture capital industry, gaining a team-work experience, and PE/VC funds networking with companies-competitors for investments, regional and federal authorities. Through all this period Russian Venture Fair was and remains to be a largest in Russia contact area for professional PE&VC industry players as well as for owners and managers of innovation technology SMEs.
First Russian Venture Fair was conducted in December 2000 at the Moscow State University Science Park. Then Russia demonstrated such approach to investments attraction to science intensive business for the first time. More than 200 participants responded to invitation of organizers and took part in the Fair.
Currently, the Fair has become an effective communicative platform. It annually brings together representative and concerned audience of domestic and foreign venture business professionals.
