Russian Venture Fair celebrates its First Anniversary!
Russian Venture Fair is the largest-scale Russian contact area for professionals – participants of private equity and venture capital industry, and owners and managers of innovative technological SMEs.
First Russian Venture Fair was conducted in December 2000 at the Moscow State University Science Park. Then Russia demonstrated such approach to investments attraction to science intensive business for the first time. More than 200 participants responded to invitation of organizers and took part in the Fair. Since 2005, the Fair has been conducted jointly with Russian Venture Forum – a congress block aimed at development of business investment infrastructure of national scale.
Currently, the Fair & Forum have evolved into the international level events. They annually bring together representative and concerned audience of domestic and foreign venture business professionals. Managers and partners of first-rate private equity and venture capital funds, leading top-managers of investment companies and banks, heads of major financial structures, key persons from international corporations, directors and partners of Russian and foreign stock markets – all of them may be listed among the participants of the Forum.
Within the Forum framework, in the interactive discussions and round tables format, the participants may share their practical experience at the private equity and venture capital sphere, discuss common problems and vital issues, elaborate effective development strategies, find new partners and clients, and lay the foundation of future business development.
