Of more than 220 applications sent by the companies to the organizing committee of the Fair, the 105 mostly promising, representing the business of 25 cities of Russia, were considered by the expert commission to meet the basic criteria of private equity and venture capital financing. Russian and foreign specialists gave a special training for top managers devoted to rising effectiveness of work with venture investors. The projects exhibited are strongly competitive both at the Russian and the international markets of new technologies, and some of them have none analogues in the world.
About 70 companies exhibited their projects at the Fair’s stands. The extremely large number of applications received from the companies interested in participating in the Fair caused the decision to present 35 projects only in the Catalog of the Fair, giving to investors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with them and to contact with the most interesting ones in the future.
Total volume of investments required by the companies came to more than $200 mln. Majority of the projects came from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the Privolzhskiy Federal District ranked to be the 3rd.
